A real macho gun. Makes a lot of noise and has great stopping power, but shooting speed is very low with that kind of recoil. The grip is much too oversized for someone with medium sized hands, which makes it hard to get a good hold of the gun. I definitely prefer a 9mm pistol for regular home defense or as a service pistol.

A gun that works well but has been outdated. Now there are better weapons with larger magazine capacity, lighter frames and consistent trigger pull.

A good, reliable gun that always works. Had it been 20 years ago I would have given it a 10, but nowadays there are better weapons in the same category. As a service pistol a gun with a trigger pull that is the same between each shot would be preferable. For me it works since I've had the weapon for 20 years. The accuracy of the weapon is relatively good for being a service pistol.
